Erewash Valley
Referees' Society
Welcome to the website of the Erewash Valley branch of the RAE - the Referees' Association of England.
The Erewash Valley Referees Society is a thriving, successful and lively society attracting members from a wide area in and around the Erewash Valley and surrounding areas. The society is run by active referees for the benefit of ALL its members. The keyword of our society is enjoyment and meetings are always well attended, relevant and INTERESTING!
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from August to April and commence at 7.30 pm. The venue for meetings is the Robins club at Ilkeston Town FC (courtesy of the directors of Ilkeston Town FC). See the programme on the left side of the page for details.
Membership ranges from the experienced Level 2 panel referees to the younger Level 8 and includes members currently on the Nationwide and Conference Leagues. Collectively members have a vast experience of officiating at all levels and newer referees will always receive good advice and support if requested.
New Members will receive a hearty welcome and find an environment where you will be encouraged to play a full part in our discussions, to express your opinion or give us your ideas about how we might improve. We are particularly proud of the support offered to our younger referees. We are also keen to increase the number of female members in the society.
For more information about the society and how to join please see: About us
Further information about becoming a referee is available in the links on the left of the page.
